Description

This is 1/2 of the entry for my TOME submission. As you guys recall, Kirbopher will be taking entries up to $75,000, in which you can donate up to $500 for a character to be in it. My guy, Master Weathervane, is a gamer who was once a proud weather forecaster in TOME before his predictions got lousy due to viruses screwing up the system. Laughed at, mocked and casted into the cold, he swore revenge on the trolls that didn't see that TOME was on the edge of a environmental disaster and joined up with another gamer in his guild to learn how to work within TOME's boundaries to find ways on how to defeat hackers.

Weathervane's shoulder familar is a Apex Nimbus, which  stores health replenishing items that he can withdraw from it, making him one of the few 'smart' gamers that knows it's wise to heal up during a fight. His Thunderclap Umbrella serves as his 'Protoman shield', blocking low-level energy blasts and projectiles though it's weak to swords and fist techniques, and can also be used as a bow for long-range and fencing saber for close range. And yes, he has a squid hat, as he has the right to get any accessory he wants. He is the proud leader of the Noctilucent Supercell guild, one devoted to Nature-based specialists and elemental control.

He is a Natural/Morphological/Weaponry specialist.

Tornado Alley-row -Opening the umbrella, he strafes side to side to fire what seems to be Kirb's dust tornado, but vertical, as it is fired like a missile at the opponent. He can fire up to 3, depending on how much damage he has taken. It can do up to moderate damage if it hits.

Meteor Shower- Raising the umbrella for one turn, he fires a shot of blue lightning in the air leaving him completely defenseless, though not instant-killable. After the player's turn ends, a fierce barrage of flaming hailstones fall from the sky, bouncing off the umbrella but will slam into the panels and possibly the player if his guard isn't ready to deal heavy, with a slim chance of critical, damage. It also has a chance of making the ground icy, which makes it possible to damage the player if he moves on the frozen panels too fast.

Thunderclap Fencer- Folding the umbrella, he trades defense for offense by lashing out in a series of fast-paced thrusts and slashes, as the tip is like a joy-buzzer shocking on contact and possibly causes the player to flinch missing a turn. he then re-opens the umbrella.

Refreshing Breeze- Although the cloud pet by itself has a limited amount of HP, every so often it offers a Health/Magic power-up to it's 'friend', who regains a certain amount of health back as well as recharging his MP bar. If the cloud is taken down however, it will take several turns before he produces a new one out of the 'cloud-shorts'. Obviously you would know how.

Ultimate Attack: Downburst A-Chew- Cupping both hands together, he creates a small blue sphere of magnetized air, then launches it forward in which it stops in the middle, drops down and explodes into a large AoE dome of destructive wind force that causes tremendous attack damage. Like Vegita's Final Gambit explosion, only he doesn't take damage from his own attack, though he will sacrifice a lot of AP to use the attack.
